Our Philosophy of Business

Thank you for taking the time to check us out. Hopefully what you find here will encourage you to give us a try. We have always tried to treat our customers as we wish to be treated when we are doing business with another company.

Our service is unmatched by any other PRC dealer. All orders for material (or requests for literature) are usually handled and shipped within 24 hours of receipt (except Sunday - our post office is closed). One caveat is that in my stage of life with small grandchildren, they take precedence over this part-time business. They live close by and have been noted to drop in at any time without notice, sometimes staying overnight. Pending business, including answering phone messages waits until they have returned home.

Contrary to some of our competition, all items listed on our online price lists are in stock and most are ready for immediate shipment. It is our policy to remove sold out items from the online price lists as soon as we know they are sold, but occasionally I make a mistake and a sold out item remains on the list. Like everybody else I am not perfect, and these kinds of mistakes have been known to happen.

We are most interested in establishing a relationship with our clients in which we can become, whenever possible, their main supplier of PRC philatelic material. Customers who place regular orders for stamps with us sometimes receive special offers which are not available to our customers who only order infrequently. We do not keep sending price lists to anybody and everybody who has ever placed an order. See our Mailing List policy elsewhere on this web-site.

We are a retail, not wholesale, dealer and offer no lower prices to other dealers or to anyone else for quantity purchases. We are dealer members of the China Stamp Society (#1853), and we were dealer members of the American Philatelic Society for 37 years until they started charging for dealer listings in mid-2010. We still remain lifetime APS members (#63113).

Fidelity Trading Company was established in 1973 and has been serving collectors of PRC stamps ever since. We have sold over 2 million dollars worth of inventory over that time, and have one of the largest stocks of PRC material here in the USA.
